Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s star power fading as Firm ‘command attention every time’
|The Sussexes’s reported plotting to coincide their announcements with the Royal Family’s hasn’t had the desired effect says one expert.

Prince Harry and Meghan are becoming increasingly “irrelevant” as the Royal Family “command attention every time”.
That’s the stinging analysis from a leading royal commentator as she reflects on the Sussex’s penchant for coinciding updates with mayor royal announcements.
In recent months this has included a recent product release by Meghan which clashed with Trooping the Colour when the Princess of Wales was making her first appearance since undergoing treatment for cancer.
There was also the decision to announce Meghan’s luxury lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard shortly before Prince William spoke at an awards ceremony in honour of his mother Diana, Princess of Wales.
Jennie Bond, former BBC royal correspondent, weighed in on their timings – but had some thoughts that were brutal.
Speaking to GB News, commentator Kinsey Schofield said: “Now, remember, Meghan Markle had requested for Taylor to be her podcast.“She wrote her a handwritten letter and Taylor’s team rejected it.”
She added: “So I think we are seeing our Taylor side with Team Wales here over the last few hours.“Also, you know, a lot of people pointing out the pictures of Meghan and Harry at the Beyoncé concert, where Harry looks pretty miserable versus Prince William shaking his tail feathers at the Taylor Swift concert.“You’re just seeing that Prince William is pursuing joy. And I think that is important.”
